Established in 1991 by John & Sheena Wilson, Schools' Out! was one of the first out of school care organisations in East Renfrewshire. It all started with 6 children in Stamperland Community Hall, later moving to Netherlee Kirk House to operate both breakfast club and afterschool care.
With growing demand we then found additional accommodation in Netherlee Scout Hall, a much more spacious and open plan venue providing a more suitable venue for our older children.
As the demand for afterschool grew so did the demand for our Breakfast club facility and again we required additional space. We were very lucky to have Netherlee Pavilion right on the schools doorstep and jumped at an opportunity not be missed.
26 years later (and counting!)...
Since 2015, Natalie Scanlan has been our setting manager. Natalie will deal with the day to day running of both the breakfast and afterschool club. She is qualified to SVQ level 4 Playwork & Management and is working towards a B.A. in Childhood Practice. When not at work, Natalie can be found running around after her two boys.
